“My mother told me I started drawing when I was old enough to hold a crayon. As I got older, I spent hours perfecting my skills and would keep adjusting my artwork until I was satisfied with the end results. When asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I said I wanted to work with my hands and make people smile. Dentistry fit that bill, and my attention to detail helps me provide the best possible care for my patients. Dr. Elise Brace was born in Long Island but raised in Wilmington and is proud to call North Carolina her home. Dr. Brace earned her Bachelor’s degree at NC State - Go Pack! - and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the ECU School of Dental Medicine. She purchased Twin Leaf Dentistry in July of 2024 and plans to continue to provide the best restorative and cosmetic dentistry to her patients. She has taken extensive continuing education courses improve her skills and stay current on the latest technologies. Dr. Brace is also an avid DIY-er and enjoys helping her husband, Nathan, with various home improvement projects. Together they have two beautiful children who keep them on their toes, and a senior dog who likes to visit the office on occasion. When not working, Dr. Brace spends her free time reading, crafting and spending quality time with her family.
