We are conveniently located on the border of Apex and Holly Springs, NC. We offer offer family dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and much more! Our team improves the well-being of everyone involved with our practice by delivering oral health care at the highest standards, continuously developing our knowledge and skills, and acting with compassion and integrity. It’s more than just the relaxing environment, comfortable amenities, and beautiful restorations we’ve done. We invite you to join us because you share our values. We are people-centered and believe in building relationships, not just fixing teeth. We truly want to get to know our patients and earn their trust. Our hope is that once you enter our practice, you will remain a part of our dental family for life!

Tired of seeing a different dentist every visit? We are a single-doctor private practice: this means the practice is 100% privately owned by Dr. Connie Feng, who will be the only doctor providing all restorative treatment needs at this office. Why does this matter? The benefits of being treated by your own long-term dentist are considerable. Your dentist’s familiarity with you and your treatment history means they are best placed to make treatment choices based on that knowledge, ensuring that you receive the highest level of dental care on an ongoing basis. We care if our work lasts because we hope to see you 5, 10, 20 years from now (and not have you be mad at us for something failing!). Due to rising costs in recent years, there has been a substantial increase in corporate and chain-type practices that have many rotating temporary providers and associates. No matter which practice you choose, we encourage you to find one with an experienced, permanent long-term provider.

With a marked increase in the number of dentists being signed to exclusive contracts, many people are finding themselves having less coverage if they switch from their own dentist to the insurer’s own contracted dentists (being “in-network”). While it might seem like an attractive financial prospect, your dental health could potentially suffer in the longer term because of the loss of care by your long-term dentist. From a health perspective only, you are far better sticking with the same provider who can offer the continuity of care you need. If you feel you are unfairly pressured to switch away from your dentist, you should send a letter of complaint to your insurer, making it clear that you don’t believe it’s fair that you receive lower benefits because you want to stay with your existing dentist. Secondly, find an insurance company with no coverage difference between contracted and non-contracted dentists and switch your policy.

Dr. Connie Feng, DDS

General Dentist

“My parents told me I first started drawing when I was two years old. While growing up, I fell in love with horses and used to draw portraits of other people’s horses for them. I spent countless hours at the drawing table, hoping to bring a smile to the recipient's face. Now I have the privilege of bringing that smile to an even wider audience: Dentistry became a way for me to be artistic and also improve people's quality of life. In today's fast-paced world, I realized that quantity and speed were the norm in most practices. My desire to spend more one-on-one time with patients and do the level of work that I would be proud of led me to start my own practice, where I could live out my vision on a daily basis.”

Dr. Connie Feng is a double Tar Heel, having earned both her Bachelor’s and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill. She opened Twin Leaf Dentistry in 2017 with a dream to provide the best restorative and cosmetic dentistry to her patients. She has taken extensive continuing education courses improve her skills and stay current on the latest technologies. Dr. Feng moved from upstate NY to NC in 2004 and is proud to call it her permanent home. Dr. Feng is also an accomplished artist and photographer. When not working on making teeth beautiful, she spends her free time drawing, painting and taking photos. She also enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family.

I believe less dentistry has to be done if we spent more time teaching patients about their oral health, and less dentistry has to be re-done if it was done with sufficient care and effort in the first place.

We strive to engage our patients as partners in their care and support their journey to maintain or improve their health. We pride ourselves in taking the time to listen and understand your concerns. The foundation for excellent care starts with listening to you and developing a great working relationship; one of mutual respect and trust. The only way for us to do this is for the doctor to schedule one new patient or procedure at a time. When you schedule your first visit with us, you can expect to have our full attention and be seen on-time.

We are focused on prevention and practice minimally invasive dentistry. Although we understand emergencies occur, we truly believe that being proactive (health-driven) versus reactive (crisis-driven) will save you time, money, and pain in the long run. When necessary to intercept disease, we will remove unhealthy tooth structure while trying to keep as much sound tooth structure as possible. We follow scientifically-proven methods and use the best labs and materials available to improve the success of your restorations. Your smile is a messenger of your good will. Your smile brightens the lives of all who see it. To someone who has seen a dozen people frown, scowl or turn their faces away, your smile is like a sun breaking through the clouds. Especially when that someone is under pressure from his bosses, his customers, his teachers or hopeless – that there is joy in the world.
